The Buttered Biscuit - Moberly

Brunch spot with appeal for most palates, set in a modern farmhouse aesthetic. We came here on a Sunday while visiting family in NW Arkansas. We got in before it was too busy with five adults and four children. Business really picked up while we ordered and waited for our food, but service stayed attentive and friendly even with the rush. I got a breakfast sandwich, which is really tasty with a nice sauce. I ordered extra eggs over medium to eat with the side potatoes, and everything came out as it should. Prices were fair and portions were good. I'd go back.

Peach mimosas were great! Verde burritos, peach pie French toast were good too! Great service and atmosphere The mocha latte was really disappointing though. Wasn’t hot enough and no foam.

Outstanding breakfast/ brunch choices. Top quality food and service. I noticed the kitchen staff through the window behind the diner style counter smiling and laughing with each other even as they worked in the hot kitchen to produce the amazing dishes. And the wait staff saying “thank you” to them when they picked up their customers’ orders. These not-so-little things make all the difference.

I went here to start my morning with the yummy sounding beignets. They're made with the biscuit batter. I tried the Raspberry and the Lemon Curd. I took them to go. I wish I could have a half order of each flavor or better yet a sample platter with all 3 would be excellent but since that isn't an option I bought the two orders which was a lot of beignets. I would suggest ordering each with extra sauce / butter then you could really dip them in the deliciousness. Good if you're warming them up for later too.

Would rate over 5 stars if i could. literally the sweetest staff and the food is SO GOOD.
